Engineer, Web designer, and programmer
Rodney Keeling

Welcome.

I am a computer engineering major at Oregon State University, a web designer, and a rock-climber based in Portland, OR (going to school in Corvallis). I have huge interests in embedded systems, programming, and web security. I use Linux for development and OS X for design, and I design websites and hack electronics at 2:00 a.m. so I don't look like a computer addict during the day. I hand-coded this website using strict XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and a tidbit of PHP. The CMS in use on this website is Wordpress.

When I'm not on the computer, I enjoy the daily cup of tea and climbing whenever I get the chance. I also love learning about the Human brain, and how its interactions with technology can be further unified.

A new start

January 30th, 2010

Well It’s been quite a while since I’ve actually blogged, but I think it will be interesting getting back into the groove. I will be posting a bunch of random things, most of which will be useful to either web designers, developers, programmers, engineers, or just geeks. But it all makes for an interesting read, right? :]

Anyway, I’ll try to keep posting consistently good content that I find useful to myself or to others. So enjoy!

Considering that I fall under all the categories, I’ll be looking forward to learning a few things.

By the way, when look at different posts, it automatically fills in the “Name” and “Mail” text boxes for me with what I previously used. How’d you do that?

I didn’t implement that; perhaps it’s browser cache?
